What warehouse QC can tell you
QC photos can help you compare the received item with the variant you ordered. Look for visible differences in colour, labels, quantity, shape, stitching and condition. If a measurement is important, check that the image actually shows it clearly.
Photos have limits. Lighting affects colour, a camera cannot confirm how a fabric feels, and a static image cannot establish long-term durability or complete electrical performance. A QC image is not an authenticity certificate.
Use the same checklist every time
- Identity: confirm the order reference and that the photos show your item.
- Variant: compare size, colour and style labels against the order.
- Quantity: check pairs, sets and any accessories described in the listing.
- Visible condition: inspect marks, damage, seams, fasteners and obvious asymmetry.
- Fit: compare actual measurements with a similar item you already own.
- Missing evidence: request a specific view or check if something cannot be judged.
Ask for the measurement you need
For a garment, say whether you need chest width, length, waist or inseam and how it should be measured. For shoes, check the seller's size guidance and ask which measurement the agent can reliably provide.
Compare centimetres using the same measurement method. A size label alone is not a reliable fit comparison between sellers. Check the agent's available inspection options and any added cost before submitting a request.
Pause shipping when an issue needs an answer
If you see the wrong variant, damage or a material mismatch, contact the agent through that order before including the item in an international parcel. State what you ordered, what the photo shows and what resolution you are requesting.
Ask about the seller's return or exchange eligibility, applicable deadlines, delivery costs and the next step. Eligibility depends on the seller, item and service terms; a request does not mean a return has been accepted.
Keep the evidence and packaging
Save the listing, selected options, QC images and support replies. Ask the agent to preserve labels and packaging while a return or exchange is being discussed. Confirm the resolution before approving repacking or shipping.
Once an item has left the warehouse, the practical steps and cost of returning it can change. Review any unresolved concern while the item is still accessible to the agent.
Make one clear decision
After reviewing the evidence, decide whether to ship the item, ask for a targeted additional check, or request an eligible return or exchange. Record the answer in the order conversation.
If the product needs a safety or performance assurance that photos cannot provide, do not treat attractive QC images as a substitute for that evidence.
